German Shepherd Dog / Retriever / Mixed (short coat) Dog

Reginald the Dog needs a home

A Special Needs Dog Deserves a Home

Three years ago, Two by Two Rescue was contacted by a breeder because her German Shepherd quit nursing her large litter. We found a precious young lady who dedicated the next 2-3 months bottle feeding and raising the puppies.

At 3 months old, Reggie was injured when a large dog jumped off a dog house onto his back. The nerve damage delayed his mobility but didn't stop him! He eventually began daily romps across several acres with his best friend a Wolfhound named Hatty.

Due to his poor genetic breeding, hip dysplasia and early onset of arthritis, he underwent a double hip FHO surgery (femoral head ostectomy). Reggie is now using a wheelchair cart, but we thoroughly believe he can regain full use of his back legs.  He needs a compassionate home that has the heart for a gorgeous, loving and highly social boy!

If interested, please submit an adoption application, www.twobytworescue.com/adoption-application     His rehab doctor will gladly discuss details as well. He was born jan. 5, 2015, is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped

His adoption fee is $200.00.    Reggie has a heart of gold and can't wait to share it with a person or family of his own.
